PURPOSE
The purpose of the Sherman College of Straight
Chiropractic Alumni Association is to promote
the philosophy, science and art of straight
chiropractic by offering direction, service and
support for the growth and development of
Sherman College and its alumni.
FACTS
Historically speaking, the Sherman College
Alumni Association was formed in 1976 with Dr.
Harold W. Wood, Jr., as its first president.
Dues of $50 are collected annually. However,
graduates in their first two years after
graduation are automatically members of the
Alumni Association with a two-year complimentary
membership.
The Alumni Office at the college provides the
support and direct link to the college for the
Alumni Association.
The annual meeting of the Alumni Association is
held each year during the college's Lyceum
Program of homecoming and continuing education
offerings and is held in conjunction with a
luncheon on Friday of Lyceum. The luncheon is
free to all current members.

To join the Alumni Association or renew your
membership, send $50 to: Sherman College Alumni
Association, Sherman College of Straight
Chiropractic, Post Office Box 1452, Spartanburg,
SC 29304.
To pay by credit card, email your funds to
AlumniAssociation@sherman.edu through the online
payment service at
Paypal.com. This is especially convenient
for international alumni.
