Sherman College of Chiropractic will submit applications to all applicable states for its Lyceum 2013. We try to provide as many continuing education hours as possible during this time and will apply for up to 21 CE hours. Download list of CE approvals here.
Please verify that your state has approved the course you want to attend for CE credit by viewing the State Approval List or contacting us at 800-849-8771 ext 263 or 229. Sherman College is not responsible for denied state approvals with regard to CE credit. As we receive approvals, we will update the list.
Sherman College is a CCE Accredited College; therefore, applications are not made to the states listed as auto approval. If your state is listed as "auto-approved" for a program, check with your board to be sure the course content falls within your board's scope of practice requirements/definitions.
Sherman College is a CCE Accredited College; therefore, applications are not made to the states listed as DC-self. If your state is listed as "dc-self" for a program, it is your responsibility to take courses that fall within your board's scope of practice requirements/definitions.
Each course is monitored by an attendant and course attendance hours are calculated by the use of sign in/out sheets. The monitor’s duty is to check doctors in and out of the seminar and record the time they arrive and leave if at any time it deviates from the scheduled time. Failure to comply with the required attendance procedures or failure to remain in the classroom or teaching facility may result in a loss of credit hours reported. The Continuing Education Department is required by the various state reporting agencies to verify attendance at each seminar.
Postgraduate education verification letters will be issued for the number of documented hours attended. This letter will be issued after Lyceum and are NOT sent to state boards unless required by the state. Registrants are responsible for maintaining a copy for their records.
Sherman College will not complete attendance vouchers for continuing education credits until the course is paid in full, if applicable.
Continuing education requirements are mandated by state regulating boards.
State Boards are continuously updating their CE requirements so please contact
your Board for specific requirement details and specific questions. For board
