Sbarra Receives Spirit of Sherman College Award from Sherman College of Chiropractic

Sbarra Gives Alumni Gift

Nutley, NJ, chiropractor Sam Sbarra, D.C., ’86, has been honored with the Spirit of Sherman College Award from his alma mater, Sherman College of Chiropractic. The Spirit of Sherman College Award is presented to Sherman graduates who exemplify the true spirit of Sherman College in their professional lives.

 

A 1986 graduate of Sherman College, Sbarra has been in private practice for 34 years at Sbarra Chiropractic in Nutley, NJ, and has served as an adjunct professor at a local community college in New Jersey since 1995. He is a longtime member of Sherman College’s Alumni Association and Regent Program.

 

Sbarra provides community service to many charitable causes, such as his donation of N95 masks to the town fire department, and he coordinates an annual toy drive which benefits a local shelter that serves women affected by domestic violence. Sbarra says his mission has always been to provide the highest quality of personalized chiropractic care to his patients and to serve his community with dedication.

 

Sherman College honored alumni, chiropractors, and supporters during its 48th Lyceum, a homecoming and continuing education event attended by hundreds of chiropractors and students throughout the U.S. and internationally. Lyceum is held each year and involves three days of seminars, special events and other programs. More than 600 people participated this year.
