Sherman College of Chiropractic recently received the Hearts and Hands Award from the SC School for the Deaf and the Blind (SCSDB) at their annual Awards Day event. The award recognizes those who have benefited the SCSDB either through contributions or improvements to the Spartanburg campus facilities or programs. Sherman was recognized for donations from students, faculty, and staff to SCSCB’s back-to-school drive each August and the Angel Tree program each December. Accepting the award on behalf of Sherman was Dean of Clinics Brian Dooley, D.C., A.C.P., D.Ph.CS, and Assistant Professor of Clinical Sciences and Chiropractic Health Center Case Doctor Tara Madden, D.C., C.A.C.C.P. The award was presented by SCSDB President Jolene L. Madison and SCSDB Foundation Executive Director Sam Hook.
