Sherman College of Chiropractic honored alumni, chiropractors, and supporters during its 51st Lyceum event, a homecoming and continuing education event attended by hundreds throughout the U.S. and internationally. Lyceum is held annually for three days, consisting of seminars, special events, and other programs. Over 800 individuals participated in this year’s event, held May 3-5 on the Sherman campus in Spartanburg. The college is proud to announce recipients of Sherman’s 13 prestigious Lyceum awards.
The Distinguished Service Award is presented to a Sherman graduate who has distinguished himself or herself through service to the community, the profession, and/or Sherman College.
Lisa Lanzara-Bazzani, D.C. and Victor Bazzani, D.C., are the recipients of the 2024 Sherman College of Chiropractic Distinguished Service Award.
Drs. Victor Bazzani (from Miami) & Lisa Lanzara-Bazzani (from NH and a second-generation chiropractor) are both Sherman graduates who met at Sherman in 1989!! They have been actively engaged in the chiropractic community in New Hampshire from the start over 30 years ago and both have made significant contributions at the state level. They have each served 10 years on the NH State Board of Chiropractic Examiners, with Dr. Lisa also serving as the first woman Chairman of the Board of Examiners in New Hampshire and as the first woman President of the New Hampshire State Chiropractic Society. They own and operate Bazzani Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Bazzani Chiropractic Nashua–a trilingual practice and Bazzani Chiropractic Manchester, serving families with quality chiropractic care focused on the correction of vertebral subluxation. Dr. Lisa currently serves as Executive Committee Chair on the Sherman College Board of Trustees.
Drs. Lisa and Victor have two daughters, Alexandra, a high school History teacher and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu instructor and Tatiana, Sherman graduate ’24, is the 8th chiropractor in the family–with 7 being Sherman graduates! They fully support the continued success and excellence of Sherman College.
