Sherman Alum Kelvin Ng: From Tax Consultant to Chiropractic Entrepreneur

When Kelvin Ng decided to go back to school and become a Doctor of Chiropractic, he had a few concerns about making that dream a reality. He worried about finding the money for tuition, and that his savings weren’t large enough to support him during the 3.5-year academic program. Kelvin was also hoping to attend college in the United States, far away from his home in Singapore. On top of it all, he felt intimidated by the potential course load after transitioning from a career as a tax consultant.

Kelvin found the academic, financial, and community support he needed at Sherman College. With the help of a scholarship and dedicated teachers, Kelvin graduated at the top of his class. He then went on to launch a successful chiropractic career by opening his own clinic in his home country!
