Lakewood, CO, chiropractor Darby Lyles Thomas was recently named Rising Star by Sherman College of Chiropractic in Spartanburg, SC. The Rising Star Award is given to a recent Sherman College graduate who has demonstrated exceptional achievements and service in the community.
“We are incredibly proud of the strides Dr. Lyles Thomas has made in sharing chiropractic with her community and the world,” said Sherman College President Edwin Cordero, D.C.
Dr. Lyles Thomas graduated from Sherman College in 2010 and is serving patients at her office, 100% Chiropractic, in Lakewood, CO. She sees 300 to 350 patients each week and averages 100 new patients each quarter.
She regularly educates her community on the benefits of chiropractic care through lunch-and-learn programs at local businesses and even hosts a running club at her office. She understands what it takes to start a business and offers to mentor and train other doctors before they open practices of their own. In addition to growing her successful practice, she also volunteers with several different organizations in her community.
Sherman College named its 2015 award recipients April 30-May 2 as part of Lyceum, an annual continuing education and homecoming event attended by hundreds of chiropractors throughout the U.S. and internationally. Lyceum is held on the college’s campus in Spartanburg, SC, and involves three days of seminars, special events and other programs.
