Dean of Clinical Sciences Dr. Armand Rossi recently joined Sherman regent and supporter Dr. Steve Tullius on a Facebook Live chat discussing chiropractic, pediatrics, autism and more. Rossi will present at the AutismOne 2018 Conference in Chicago May 23-27, 2018. AutismOne is a nonprofit, parent-driven organization that provides education and supports advocacy efforts for children and families touched by an autism diagnosis.
Dr. Armand Rossi is a 1976 Palmer College of Chiropractic graduate. He’s practiced in Georgia and Arizona, before becoming the Dean of Clinical Sciences at Sherman College of Chiropractic. He is a renowned lecturer, giving talks around the world on pediatric chiropractic.
Dr. Tullius graduated in 2002 from Los Angeles Chiropractic College and runs Good Vibrations Family Chiropractic in San Diego. He furthered his understanding and appreciation of chiropractic philosophy when he completed Sherman College’s Academy of Chiropractic Philosophers program in 2011.
Dr. Tullius is active in the profession, serving as a board member of the International Federation of Chiropractors and Organizations. He is a member of the California Chiropractic Association (and served as secretary to that organization from 2011-2012), and is also a member of the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association, the Association for the History of Chiropractic, and the Sustainability Committee. He is a co-founder of the Movement for Chiropractic Quality & Integrity.
According to AutismOne, this first-ever chiropractic pediatric CE program with an emphasis on autism is designed to open the door to more chiropractors serving this group of children, taking the fear out of this neurodevelopmental disorder and replacing it with optimism and hope for improved health, function, and quality of life.
The program, which is co-sponsored by Sherman College, promises to provide “the best information from the chiropractic and other healing communities to prepare the practicing chiropractor with up-to-the-minute information, confidence, and resources to help children with autism.” Watch the replay of their Facebook Live chat.
