Why Chiropractic: I chose to pursue chiropractic because for years I had unexplained health issues and then when I had my kids, they also had some health issues and throughout all of that, no one seemed to see the body as bigger than the symptom or system in question until I saw a chiropractor. While working for my chiropractor, I realized I wanted to serve my community in this way so I can help individuals and families understand their health more holistically.
Favorite thing about Sherman: The people – I have found a great community with fellow students both in my quarter and through clubs. And so many of the professors truly care about students and go out of their way to be a resource, not only in the classes they teach, but throughout the program.
