Scott Garber, D.C. Receives the Service to Sherman College Award

2024 Service to Sherman College recipient Scott Garber

Sherman College of Chiropractic honored alumni, chiropractors, and supporters during its 51st Lyceum event, a homecoming and continuing education event attended by hundreds throughout the U.S. and internationally. Lyceum is held annually for three days, consisting of seminars, special events, and other programs. Over 800 individuals participated in this year’s event, held May 3-5 on the Sherman campus in Spartanburg. The college is proud to announce recipients of Sherman’s 13 prestigious Lyceum awards.

Scott Garner, D.C., is the recipient of the 2024 Sherman College of Chiropractic Service to Sherman College Award.

The Service to Sherman Award is presented to the individual who has demonstrated extraordinary, unselfish, and noteworthy service to Sherman College.

Dr. Scott Garber’s journey in chiropractic began with academic excellence, graduating Magna Cum Laude from Parker Chiropractic College in 2001. His stellar achievements were recognized with prestigious awards, including the James W. Parker Philosophy Award and the Chiropractic Technique and Scholastic Achievement Award. He was twice honored as International Chiropractor of the Year and Chiropractor of the Year from Parker University in Dallas, Texas.

Active in the International Federation of Chiropractors and Organizations (IFCO) and a supporter of the Australian Spinal Research Foundation, Dr. Garber is committed to advancing chiropractic globally. His passion for community service is evident through his involvement in initiatives such as the Pittsfield Rotary and the Berkshire Chamber of Commerce, demonstrating his dedication to positively impacting the community and beyond his office.

Dr. Garber serves as a worldwide advocate for chiropractic care, leading missions to countries including Sri Lanka, the Czech Republic, Germany, Singapore, Thailand, and Romania. His self-funded efforts have brought healing and hope to countless individuals worldwide. In addition, he has conducted a chiropractic seminar, the Berkshire Experience, since 2007, delivering valuable program content and hosting exceptional speakers to enlighten audiences globally.  Dr. Garber has donated more than $200,000 to chiropractic organizations, schools, research, and chiropractic pediatrics
