Sherman Partners with TLC4Superteams for Practice Success Program

Graduates and Sustainable Success in ChiropracticBelieving that chiropractic college graduates deserve to excel by generating revenues through successful practices centered on chiropractic adjustment, Sherman College of Chiropractic and TLC4Superteams have partnered to create the Practice Success Program at Sherman College.

The Practice Success Program is designed to provide the best of what the Sherman College faculty and TLC4Superteams bring to students. At the beginning of each quarter, TLC4Superteams sends experienced doctors to Sherman to work alongside faculty and provide intensive training for students. In the classes, they cover everything from the foundational disciplines of practice and balanced living to “pro-motion” and attracting people to chiropractic.
Every aspect of patient care, including care plan development, decisions on what type of practice to open, and steps that should be taken in the 12 weeks before opening a new clinic, are covered in the program. This innovative approach is aimed at preparing students to cope with the financial aspects of succeeding in business.
 Faculty hep students succeed
Though the program is in its infancy, Sherman College President Edwin Cordero, D.C., is encouraged by the strides being made. “In the short time since we instituted the Practice Success Program, we’ve realized it not only presents a phenomenal opportunity but that we are the only school doing this to this level,” he said. “I’m excited for the students and the college. We want to give our students the best experience possible. We want them to be purposeful, make different choices. It’s clear that other colleges that want to be competitive will have to follow.”
 
Dean and Jen DePice, D.C., who run TLC4Superteams, agree. “These seminars will point students toward the target of becoming doctors of chiropractic equipped to obliterate their student loan debt within three to six years of graduation,” the couple explains. “This is an outcome never before tackled, and we are confident that this unique curriculum will surpass the expectations set and will result in setting Sherman College apart from all the other chiropractic colleges. We are molding today’s chiropractic students into tomorrow’s chiropractic leaders and changing the world together. It’s an exciting investment in the future of our profession.”
