Judy Nutz Campanale, D.C., A.C.P., is the recipient of the 2024 Sherman College of Chiropractic Chiropractor of the Year Award.
The Chiropractor of the Year is awarded to the chiropractor who has, through their service, given extraordinary time and effort to advance Sherman College and the principled chiropractic profession.
Owner and practitioner at Strauss Chiropractic Center in Levittown, PA, Dr. Campanale oversees one of the world’s longest-standing, high-volume cash practices, now in its remarkable 57th year. Dr. Campanale’s influence in chiropractic extends across various platforms. She has contributed significantly to the profession through her editorial work on numerous “Blue Books” authored by Dr. Strauss and Dr. Claude Lessard, covering topics ranging from philosophy to practice building. Additionally, since 2016, she has penned the monthly ICPA Kids’ Newsletter, “Your Amazing Body,” aiming to educate children and adults alike about the wonders of the human body in accessible language.
An accomplished author, Dr. Campanale has contributed to several published works, including “33,” “The Wisdom of 33,” and “The Triune of Life: Reggie Gold’s Philosophical Legacy,” each reflecting her deep commitment to chiropractic principles and philosophy.
Dr. Campanale’s leadership extends to the academic realm, where she has served on the Board of Trustees of Sherman College of Chiropractic since 2016, assuming the role of Chair from 2018 to 2022. She is also a trailblazer in the profession, having served as the first female president of the International Federation of Chiropractors and Organizations (IFCO), formerly the Federation of Straight Chiropractors and Organizations.
Dr. Campanale has earned numerous prestigious awards throughout her career, including Chiropractor of the Year by FSCO in 1999 and by Sherman College of Chiropractic in 2000, marking her as the first woman to receive both honors.
