Sherman and Spartanburg Work Together to Help Students Thrive
Sherman College of Chiropractic and Spartanburg Community College (SCC) have an extensive history of working together. This partnership extends to the Pre-Chiropractic Institute. Founded by both Spartanburg Community College and Sherman, the institute offers a specialized pre-chiropractic program for students looking to enroll at Sherman to pursue a chiropractic career. Students enrolled in the pre-chiropractic program at SCC learn business skills to help them set up their own practices. They graduate with an Associate of Science Degree with Pre-Chiropractic Electives and a Pre-Chiropractic Certificate with guaranteed admission into Sherman (GPA requirements must be met). Through this partnership, students can complete their associate degree and a graduate degree in 6.5 years.
Chiropractors are in Demand
Demand for Doctors of Chiropractic is rising in the US. Rather than rely only on medical and surgical solutions, patients are likely to search out natural, non-invasive healthcare options that promote well-being; this makes chiropractic and its intuitive approach very attractive to consumers.
The United States Bureau of Labor Statistics projects 12% job growth for DCs between 2016 and 2026 – that’s more than 5,900 new jobs. With exciting career prospects ahead, Sherman is pleased to offer students the option of completing their education with Partnership Programs so they can build a successful career! Are you considering a career in chiropractic?
