Schofield Named Chiropractic Advocate of the Year

Chiropractic consultant and educator Susan Schofield of Glendale, AZ, has been named Chiropractic Advocate of the Year by Sherman College of Chiropractic in Spartanburg, SC, in appreciation of her outstanding contributions, time and commitment to the chiropractic profession and the college. The Chiropractic Advocate of the Year Award is given to a non-chiropractor who has contributed to the advancement of Sherman College and the chiropractic profession in a significant and noteworthy manner.

As a pharmacist working and living in Davenport, IA, Susan met her future husband, chiropractor Fred Schofield, D.C., who immediately shared the chiropractic philosophy with her. Susan quickly realized there was a better approach to helping people create health in their lives; she realized that medicine had its place with acute trauma, but did not always promote or create health in individual lives.

Since 1981, Susan Schofield has been dedicated to helping chiropractors, their spouses, staff, and patients to break the barriers of mediocrity. She is considered a leading expert in personalized management and consulting for chiropractic professionals.

Susan Schofield is a leader in the chiropractic profession, often recognized for her chiropractic assistant programs. Her teaching methods demonstrate ethical and legal office practices that align with the chiropractic profession. She has graced the platform at Sherman College to share her knowledge at various continuing education events.

Together with Dr. Fred Schofield, Susan co-founded Atlas Chiropractic Center and Schofield Chiropractic Training, a Coaching/Consulting/Management company, changing the lives of chiropractors worldwide.

Sherman College named its 2016 award recipients April 28-30 as part of Lyceum, an annual continuing education and homecoming event attended by hundreds of chiropractors and students throughout the U.S. and internationally. Lyceum is held on the college’s campus in Spartanburg, SC, and involves three days of seminars, special events, and other programs.
