2022 December Graduation

Sherman College Reaches Graduate
Milestone at December Commencement

On Saturday, December 15, 54 students from throughout the United States received their doctor of chiropractic degrees from Sherman College of Chiropractic in Spartanburg, South Carolina. The college's 145th commencement was a combined celebration for December 2022 and March 2023 graduates. Additionally, the ceremony was live-streamed on Facebook and YouTube so that friends and family could watch.

What made this commencement extra special was the celebration of Sherman College's 4,000th graduate, Dr. Astrid Luzunaris Morales. With the vision of adjusting the world for a better future, Sherman College is proud to say we have alumni practicing around the world changing their communities through chiropractic.

The college is grateful for each and every graduate that has entrusted them with their chiropractic education and looks forward to celebrating our graduates during our 50th anniversary year in 2023.

Iconic Case Doctor "Blue Pen" Retired

For nearly 30 years, there's been a steady presence in the Sherman College Health Center. We're excited to announce that the infamous case doctor "blue ink pen" has graduated clinic and the college has now gone fully digital with electronic health records (EHR). 
 
Sherman alumni will undoubtedly remember the cardinal rule of their intern experience: they could only use black ink pens to complete patient notes, as blue was reserved for case doctors. The blue pen has served us well, but we now look forward to its future being used in other ways.

Many thanks to the employees who helped with the transition to EHR!
