Alumni Came Together to Celebrate 50th During Lyceum |
For Sherman College’s year-long 50th Anniversary celebration, Lyceum featured an event exclusively for alumni to celebrate the long-awaited milestone while connecting with classmates, faculty, and friends. The reunion was hosted at the historical Citizens and Southern Event Venue in downtown Spartanburg on Thursday, May 4th and saw an appearance from Drs. Thom and Betty Gelardi – who were among the first ones there, and one of the last ones to leave!
Dr. Cindy Gibbon, ’91, Sherman College faculty member and alumna was delighted with the turnout and suggested to host this event annually to provide a place for alumni to meet up and remember the “good ole days.” We couldn’t agree more, Dr. Gibbon! With over 150 people attending the event, Alumni Relations and Engagement Coordinator, Hannah Tucker, has plans to continue this tradition in 2024.
