A Day of Fun: Sherman's Summer Celebration

One of the hallmarks of the summer quarter is a day for Sherman College students and employees to come together for friendly competition, fellowship, and fun. As part of the "Summer Celebration," Fun Day was held July 27th and included a catered lunch served to students by employees, pickleball games, cornhole, a volleyball tournament, and snow cones to keep cool on a warm day.

We caught up with Meagan L, DC2B (pictured in tie-dyed pink), and asked why she looks forward to this day every year. She said, "I love this event because it allows me and other students to interact with one another differently than in a class setting." She went on to say, "I enjoy watching all the sports competitions so I can cheer everyone on when they score!"

Thank you to all students and employees who joined in the fun - we're already looking forward to next year's event!

Showcase Sherman Weekend
July 2023

The Sherman College campus swelled with pride and excitement as the college hosted its most recent Showcase Sherman Weekend this past weekend with 39 prospective students in attendance from 17 states and one US territory.

Showcase Sherman Weekend is the college's quarterly VIP event filled with fun, passion, and chiropractic. The event gives prospective students a chance to explore chiropractic and Sherman College and ignites their passion for the profession. Attendees have the opportunity to tour campus, attend a palpation session, participate in leadership exercises, and more.

If you know a prospective student who has completed 60 semester hours of undergraduate coursework and is within two years of enrolling in our D.C. program, talk to them about the next Showcase Sherman Weekend, scheduled for October 6-7, and have them contact our admissions team. Limited space is available, so don't delay!

In observance of our 50th anniversary, we caught up with Sherman alumni around the globe to reminisce about their time at Sherman College and how they remain connected to their alma mater in 2023. This week features Dr. Kevin Lewis, '10, of Greenville, SC!
