Gelardi Sculpture Becomes Permanent Fixture |
On Monday, an exciting event took place at Sherman College – the sculptured bust of Dr. Thom Gelardi was unveiled in its new location. The beautiful sculpture now sits at the front entrance of the Gelardi Student Center. The sculpture was donated several years ago by Drs. Fumio and Aiko Kaku. Dr. Fumio Kaku is the founder and president of the Japan Specific Chiropractic School, and the Japan Specific Chiropractic Association (JSCA). The bust was unveiled at a ceremony where Dr. Gelardi reflected, saying "It took a village - a generous village - to make this college happen. It would not be here without everyone who shared our mission, including my wife." Dr. Betty Gelardi nodded in agreement, saying she was all for it when he proposed his vision to her. |

Dr. Bourla also spoke at the event adding, “The college has remained steadfast on its mission to bring vertebral subluxation analysis and correction to the world, knowing that a world free of vertebral subluxation is a better world and one that approaches B.J. Palmer’s utopia, as described in Stephenson’s Article 399.” |

Alumni, We Need You to Help Sherman ROAR! |
A Note from Alumni Relations and Engagement Coordinator Hannah Tucker Recruitment season is in full swing! We are excited to bring Sherman to undergraduate schools by attending career fairs and speaking engagements with clubs. |

We need your help to expand chiropractic's reach by enrolling new Reach Out and Recruit (ROAR) members. As a ROAR member, you'll be highlighted as a mentor and teacher for prospective students to shadow in their communities. Our goal is to create connections with you that can lead to shadowing and internship opportunities at your practice. These opportunities will prepare future Sherman students for success as they pursue a chiropractic education. As a new member of ROAR, you will receive a package of recruiting materials from Sherman that are exclusively branded for your use. These materials include career brochures, Top 12 Reasons (Why Sherman), and admissions fast facts that will help you answer any questions you might receive about Sherman College.
ROAR, a FREE program, is designed specifically for the next generation of chiropractors. By handing out these materials to people that you think would benefit the chiropractic industry, you can help us find others who share our vision. If you are an alumnus who hasn't joined the ROAR program yet, be sure to click the button below to do so. Let's hear you ROAR!
